The Journal of Advances in Developmental Research is a peer-reviewed multidisciplinary journal that publishes research articles, general articles, research communications, review article and abstracts of theses from the fields of science, social sciences, sports science, humanities, medical, education, engineering, technology, biotechnology, home science, computer, history, arts and other fields which participates in overall development of society. The official language of journal is English. Submission of an article implies that it has not been published previously; is not under consideration for publication elsewhere; and if accepted, it will not be published elsewhere. The responsibility of the contents rests upon the authors and not upon the publisher.

    Research articles- These should describe research results aimed for overall development of society. Research article should include headings like abstract, introduction, experimental, results and discussion, conclusions, acknowledgements (if any) and references.
    General articles- They should discuss current trends in research, education, health, policies and general issues related with environment and overall development of society. The article should include headings like abstract, introduction, brief sub-heads and suitable illustrations.
    Research communications- They should describe results of complete small investigations or giving details of new models, hypotheses, methods, techniques, apparatus, forms of questioner etc.  It includes an abstract, text, suitable illustrations and references. Text should not be further broken up in headings like introduction, experimental etc.
    Review articles- They should discuss current developments in any field aimed to overall development of society. Research article should include an abstract, text and references. The text should not be broken up further into headings like introduction, experimental etc.
    Abstract of theses- Abstracts of post graduate, M.Phil. and Ph.D. dissertations and theses having strong relationship with overall development of society should be published.

Manuscript preparation- The article should be in following format-

Title- Only first letter of all the words should be capital. Bold fonts of 12pt should be used.

    Author’s Name- Surname should be followed by initials. The affiliations, mailing and E-mail addresses of all the authors must be included. The first letter should be capital only. Corresponding author should be identified by asterisk (*).

Key words- Minimum 3 and maximum 6 key words should be mentioned.

Abstract- It should be brief and must include experimental and important findings.

    Text- Main headings should be bold, with first letters capital and arranged at left hand side of the page. Sub-headings should be bold, Italic, with first letter capital and arranged at left hand side of the page. Tables and figures should be numbered with consecutive Arabic numbers (1, 2, 3–) and typed on separate sheets. Title of tables and figures should contain first letter capital only. References should be numbered in superscript. Experimental should contain detailed methods of data or sample collection, analysis, experimental design and formulae (if any). Results and discussion may be combined or separated depending on the requirement of research. References should arrange serially (1, 2, 3–) in the order in which they appear in the text.
    The style of references should be as follows-
    Journal article- Surname, Initial of name. Year. Title of article with first letter capital only. Title of journal in full and Italic, volume (issue): complete page range.
    As per the number of authors following e.g. should follow-

Single author- Surname, A A.  Year.

Two authors- Surname, A A and Surname, BB. Year.

Three or more authors- Surname, AA, Surname, BB and Surname, CC. Year.

    Book – Surname, AA. Year. Title of book in Italic. Edition (if any). Publisher name, place of publication: page numbers.
    Chapter in book- Surname, AA. Year. Title of chapter in Italic. In: title of book (Authors or editors), publisher, place of publication.

Internet document- Author. Title of document (internet). Year. URL.

    Newspaper article- Surname, AA. Year. Title of article in Italic. Name of the newspaper. Day of week, date, year: Page number.
    Thesis- Surname, AA. Year. Title of thesis in Italic. Degree. Name of department and university, state, country.
    Conference/seminar paper- Surname, AA. Year. Title of paper in Italic. Paper presented in –Title of conference/seminar. Organized by- name and address of organizing institute. Date of conference/seminar held.

Final check list

The contributors are requested to check their articles before submission for followings -

  1. The article should be in its proper format (format for different categories of article is different) and references should be arranged serially as per the format.
  2. The text should be typed in MS Word format (*.doc) in Times New Roman and 12 font size.
  3. Manuscript for all the categories should be typed in double space on one side of A-4 size white paper with margins of 4cm. All pages should be numbered consecutively.
  4. The article should be supplemented with cover page indicating title of contribution and two names of potential reviewers along with their full mailing address, mobile number and email.

All manuscript complete in all respects should be submitted by E-mail attachment to the editorial office at  pshilpkar@yahoo.com or dshilpkar@journal-advances-developmental-research.com.

Review process- All articles are reviewed either by qualified outside reviewers suggested by contributors or by members of the Editorial board. Reviewer’s comments will be sent to corresponding author within three weeks. Papers found unsuitable in terms of the overall requirements of the journal will be returned back to the corresponding author. It may be noted that papers once rejected cannot be resubmitted. The editorial board reserves the right to condense or make necessary changes in the manuscript.

    Proofs- One set of proof will be sent to the corresponding author via E-mail attachment for typographical checking only. It should be returned within 72 hours of receipt.
    Page charges- There are no page charges.
    Membership Fee- The Journal encourage non-members to submit articles for publication. After publication one PDF copy of contribution will be supplied free of charge to corresponding authors by email attachment. Hard copy of the Journal will be given to members only. The payment for membership should make by demand draft only drawn from any nationalized bank in favor of JOURNAL OF ADVANCES IN DEVELOPMENTAL RESEARCH, payable at Gandhinagar, Gujarat.
